At the side of the house was this super bright and colourful, yellow and black insect!
It didn't look quite like a wasp or a fly!
The sizeable antennae, the long wings, the long legs, the black end to its body and yellow dot between its wings. Most of all, that strange gap which seemed to be its 'missing' middle abdomen!
Commonly known as a parasitic wasp - with some very nasty habits!
By comparison - ordinary wasps are not so bad, really!
