No matter how detailed and realistic you want your art to be, sometimes it's fun to let the paintbrush loose on the paints!

The result, here, was an abstract kind of painting - still fairly detailed but not too precise.

This will be used as a base for some ink work, which will give it a little context.

There are plenty of bees in the garden this month to keep the paintbrush busy!
