Blueberries and Bees
My blueberry bushes are about 14 years old now and, thanks to the bees, they’ve grown the best blueberries ever - there are even enough for the garden and local countryside birds to have a feast!
Blueberries are tasty, healthy, pretty and go through some stunning colours - from cream, fresh greens, pink and orange hues, right through to their dark purples and shiny black. All these colours are pleasantly subdued by the glaucous wax overlay.
They're even pretty on the inside - and their leaves are just as beautiful, although I've stuck with the green leaves in this watercolour illustration - I have more countryside and garden paintings, which will be available soon.
